I've got this 40 mm projectile from a friend, who said it was a Bofors practice round. After searching on the internet i couldn't really find any info about it. It has been painted over and i would like to restore it in its original colour.
I only know of one 40mm Bofors APC and that was the Mark 7T projectile and that would be rare.. There were several marks of AP.
From the attachment method it is more likely to be a 2 Pr Mark 9 or 10A A-Tk gun APCBC with the ballistic cap missing.
