HI all, i recently purchased some 40mm grenade shells off Specialist Auctions, and im wanting to mold some projectiles to fit in them. i have a complete grenade i just wondered if anyone could give me any advice on what to use. thanks

Hi celica

Pop into local chemists & get some plaster of paris I would suggest & then use a 2 part resin once you have made the mold

Which case length 40mm did you purchase? The projectile shown is for the hi-velocity case (53mm long). The shorter 46mm case projectile does not have the heavy gilding metal rotating band and has a different profile. It is anice projectile though!

there the 46mm cases i bought, so that projectile wont fit. but i'd still ad it to my collection.

cheers
