40mm MKII with MK10 self destroying tracer.

I have a 40mm, MKII projectile that is nose fuzed with a MK10 self destroying tracer.

The rotating band is stamped: MK 2 - 21 A 9-43. It has no other markings, such as a naval anchor.

I have been scanning Ordata and TMs for weeks and cannot pin point how it should be painted.

Please help.

Color codes begin on Page 42. May or may not be correct, considering it's a 1949 issue date. Better than nothing, I 'spose.

That is alot of information.

Are US and British paint schemes the same?

Probably not.

And, the US Navy and US Army colors are different from each other, also.

I figure, hense the reason I said there are no markings such as "naval anchors" on my projectile.
