I've not heard of that one. The only 1930s 47mm Vickers tank gun ammo I know is the 3 pdr L40 as fitted to the Vickers Medium tank, which used a 47x351R case. This fired a 1.47 kg AP at 560 m/s.
Tank Gun 47mm Vickers QF, only for export, not used by the British Army.
These guns bought the Polish Army in 1934, with 22 towers tank, for Vickers E Type B.
The case dimensions for this gun seem virtually identical to the 47mm Austrian Böhler (which came in a variety of case lengths from 185-235 mm). I wonder if Vickers decided to use that round for its lower-powered 3 pdr gun, as the Böhler was widely sold?
