5 1/4" RML projectile

Ok, this RML item was picked up in South Australia, it is 135mm or 5 1/4" in diameter, no markings on any of the metalwork. The base has a slight bevel, with a tapered hexagonal plug in the nose. It looks to have been fired as the large alloy studs have some sign of wear damage. I haven't got a weight for it.
Any ideas anyone?
It is strange that there are 3 large studs & 3 smaller diameter ones???

Hello,

This one really looks like a french navy shell for 14cm gun (in the 1860s).
The hexagonal transit plug is typically french navy from this time.
These shells were filled powder and fuzed with special navy fuzes.
Plugs were used for transit and for practice.

Thank you for your reply.
Would you please have any reference material for such a projectile?
As mentioned it looks to be fired from the marks on the studs, so am tipping it is a practice with no fuze, only the plug.
