This article may be of interest to a few shooters hereabouts. Answers the age old questions, such as they are.

Having actually discussed/argued these "facts" with this as well as the 7.62 X 51 vs .308 and other "pairs", I lean to what this guy says; the big difference is in the powder. Anyway, something different to read about other than boring grenades and bombs and mortars and such.
