Your 12.7x99 case appears to have the emblem of Iran at the 12:00 position and the date is at the 9:00 position. The date is based on the Iranian Solar Hijri (S.H.) calendar and if I'm interpreting the number correctly it equals S.H. 61 which on the western calendar is 1982-1983. At the 3:00 position is the number 50 = .50 caliber. The manufactures designation is at the 6:00 position (reading right to left) and is " S D M ".
