Well i knew it wouldnt be to long before another peice of German Air dropped ordnance came my way so hear goes. All completely free from Explosives

In need of tlc is this thin walled flare dispensing 50 kg bomb which came with a very nice type 9 fuse which had been stuck in the bomb casing by
rusty locking rings.

After a bit of soaking they came of easy and have been de rusted and oiled.

The fuse is a standard type 9 and in good condition.

I have started to remove the dents in the casing and have a set of tails donated by waff for just such an occasion.

Any further help on colour schemes of the casing and tails would be most welcome.

Best phil

Ah Ha thought i would keep the bomb till last as i didnt want to let the side down:tinysmile_twink_t:

I have already sorted a lot of the dents and am in the process of doing the threads on the fuse pocket.

I expect someone will come up with a tasty document showing all the variants and detailing the colours of the casing( Thanks Jack) In advance:bigsmile:.
