50mm US projectile dated 1900: need some help with manufacturer ID

Nevermind...I found the other post on this shell...for some reason last time I searched I couldn't find it!

This projectile has been recently discussed by another member - I'm still not sure what gun is was meant for. I cleaned mine up and found some markings on the base and would love some help figuring out who made it

"D.-S.G. & A Co 1900"

My best guess is Driggs-Seabury? G is for gun maybe? IMG_1176.jpgIMG_1174.jpg

Well, now I know of two of them:tinysmile_fatgrin_t. Found some references to a 4 pounder gun, but not much info.
 
certainly rare guns. Never sEEN ANY MENTION OF THEM. hPOPE SOMEONE FINDS DATA ONTHEM. eYES ACTING UP. eXCUSE TYPING!!!!
 
I went back to my November thread 1.95" and my last post has the only reference I could find.
