Well my thoughts only, but this is a US case that would appear to have been reloaded in Britain....CR normally meaning Cordite Reduced.... less Cordite. Reloaded with a full load of Cordite would have been CF...Cordite Full. The S...possibly Scleroscope which I think was a sort of scan to determine any weaknesses in the case being reloaded.
Just my opinion but a distinct possibility
