6 Pdr shell maker?

Darkman

Well-Known Member
A friend has this WW1 dated 6 Pdr common pointed shell and would like to know the maker if possible.

The maker monogram looks like a W with a P in the middle, except that the P is incomplete and the ends of the rounded part are quite distinct. It could be a stylised F?

It also has a joined HP on the back.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Graeme
