60x 250R case but what for?

Good morning, I wonder if anyone can identify this 60 x 250R case for me. The base has a bevelled edge and the stamping is mainly numbers apart from an H and an E.
any thoughts?

It is a Dutch case for their 57 mm field gun (6 veld). Manufactured in 1903.

The case was also used with some other Dutch 57 mm guns, like a casemat gun (6 kaz) and a AA gun (6 tl).

Is this different to the 5,7cm Gruson case? 57x250R x72.9
In other words ... what is the rim diameter of the Netherlands case ?

According to the official drawing it is 57 x 251R 73,2.
