75mm German unknown projectile

Another recent addition. There are no markings on the projectile which is 300mm tall. It appears to be in two parts, separating (unscrewing?) about 25mm above the driving band which is 18mm wide. There are two holes drilled in the cap which allows a view of the inside and it looks like there is a core inside. The driving band is sintered iron I believe and has a chamfered leading edge, the base sitting 25mm above the bottom of the shell. The concave base leads me to think it might be practice. Any ideas?
