The words "real" and "dummy" are opposites. Armor Piercing Fin Stabilized Discarding Sabot implies a dart (long and thin) with fins with sectioned sabot pieces that break away after leaving the muzzle. The core facsimile is too large in diameter for a normal dart design and has no fins. There don't seem to be any section lines in the full diameter for it to break apart. In addition, APFSDS projectiles are usually minimal weight to get maximum velocity, and are reduced diameter in the middle, like a dumbbell.
The shape and profile suggests APDS, armor piercing discarding sabot of the pot design, where a hardcore subprojectile exits a full diameter pot shape. The pot falls away and the reduced diameter core proceeds to the target.
