The Norwegian Navy had a case 76.2mm X 585R for the 76mm HAK L/50. It would have a rim diameter of 109.3mm.

Your case falls right in the middle of the U.S. 3 inch cases, both navy and army, but it isn't U.S. stamped, although by your photo it looks like a U.S. 3 inch 50 cal Navy case. There is a U.S. 3 inch Mark 9 case with the same rim diameter. The Norwegians might have copied the U.S. 3 inch or vice versa.

Defiantly dutch, AI is artillerie inrichtingen. It was made and used for the dutch navy. Sorry no further information.

Yep, a Dutch case for the 76 mm Oto Melara used on many Dutch naval ships.
