76mm scorpion shell

I've had a 76mm scorpion shell for a while now, and I've recently been told that they are fairly uncommon? Can anyone give me any information about value in general, how common they are and how to know what projectile was used on it? Thank you!
I hope this thread is in the right place, sorry my first post :)
Mitch

Hi Mitch. 76mm Scorpion Cases are very common and can be found at most military auctions or events like War & Peace. They can be purchased at prices between GBP 18 to GBP 25 each in typically mint condition. Hope this helps. I have recently purchased six for GBP 20 each. If you want any more, happy to sell a couple of mine.

Hi Mitch,
As far as I know all the cases are the same except the blanks, which are shorter and have a star crimp to hold in disc retaining
charge.Head stamped ARMDC.Type of Proj stencilled on case base if not worn off.
Proj types I know of are flat head proof, canister, smoke, illumination,Hesh, prac Hesh,HE,prac HE,
Also there are instructional and drill rounds.
Can't post pictures this time, but hope this helps.Use to see a few of these around, but not so much recently.
I would guess very good examples of complete rounds would sell for around eighty pounds or so.
Tim.

Thank you Tim and Seawitch for information. :) the headstamp has 76mm ARMDC RW175 on, which type is this?
On the middle right of the headstamp it says RLB.
What do these mean? Is it a blank or a shell for a projectile? Thank you :)

If yours is a fired case you'll find it impossible to get a projectile to sit in it properly.
This is due to how much the mouth of the case expands during firing.
