76mm T64 Shell, for M41 Walker Bulldog Tank?

Need some help identifying this projectile. It is roughly 76mm in diameter.....but the copper driving band (obdurating or rotating band) is grooved unlike anything that I have seen before. I believe this is the 76mm HE T64 shell for the M41 Walker Bulldog Tank. It is missing the fuze.
It is btw, inert.
The hole in the center appears to be where a smaller rifle projectile has passed through it. Fire away!

3" 70 cal possibly.

The gun is Probert rifled hence the driving band configuration.

That definitely looks like the band for a 3 inch 70.
