77 mm Projectile for the Comet or 17 pounder ?

My question relates to the two projectiles. Left and Right. They measure 75.6 mm. No markings, other than the "J" on the one on the right.

1. Are these the Armour Piercing projectiles (with missing caps) for the 77 mm "Comet" round or the 17 pounder ?

2. Are these AP - Tracer ?

3. Any ideas on the centre projectile ?

Hello,
The round on the center looks like a 12Pr shot (maybe used for practice)

I think that these are 17pr projectiles. The early 17pr projectiles didn't have any caps, then changed to armour-piercing caps (APC) and then to armour-piercing capped ballistic capped (APCBC). I believe that the 77mm projectiles had caps. The outer two projectiles have tracer pockets. The middle projectile is probably a 12pr, which was a separate-loading round, hence the lack of a cannelures. Depotman
