I d like also to share this one..
Took about also 3 years to complete.

Originally found the tripod here from a friend, it was in good working condition, and was over-painted dark green.
I was amazed that still had the original beige underneath and i though it was a good start for a set up.
Took about a year to find a relic condition base plate from Germany, and a few months later a relic tube from Latvia.

Unfortunately baseplate had no salvageable stamps, but the tube had a partial serial number and a date of 1941.
Both where over painted with thick black paint and had big holes from the rust.
Later came the sight and 3 round box, originated probably from an eastern country.
Restored partially only the box of the sight and the round box (had this terrible light green even over the wooden handle)

in this project i wanted to keep a feeling of semi relic restored, as it really gives more character.
