81mm Mortar

A friend has this 81mm mortar and asks for ID of country. Thought it was French or Italian.
There are no visible stamps. White nose and gray body. The fuze is a dummy so maybe a practice mortar? Any comments are welcome.

This color combination is new to me.
French Brandt Design with dummy fuze but as far as I know no grey paint for this kind of shell.
Practice (inert weighed) short range (reduced charge) model 1932 should be all white for French use.

Same all white was used by Swiss but with burster and smoke filling.
Grey bodies were used by Italians (but with orange head for HE), Swiss (Yellow head for HE), Swedish (prac, smoke, He), etc. Nothing with white head.
