9.2 inch Mark XB Practice Shot Projectiles

NZ L1A1 Collector

We have just received these two Mark XB Practice Shot projectiles. Each weighs 380 lbs (172kgs). They spent most of their life as entrance marker/flag pole guardians, but finally we have managed to get them returned to the Coast Defence Battery they were intended for. The projectiles need to be refurbished and re-stenciled. They should be black with a 2 inch yellow band and a 2 inch white tip.

Note the damage to bases and the lower sections of the projectiles because they were buried in concrete for decades.
