9.3 x 85

Found another box of stuff. This dummy/action proving round may be a fantasy round. Very well done if it is a fake.
9.3 X 85. Plain base, no headstamp. May be a stylized thing for a lamp or some such. Nothing shows up on an internet search.

In the box there were also some nice old cal. .50 dummies

Flat, smooth head. Appears to be a machined, solid chunk of brass. The "banded" projectile makes me think this is a decorative item, akin to a finial, vs a dummy.

Slick,

Banded bullets have been played around with for years, So this may not be a decorative item and with it being listed in the ECRA data base I'm pretty certain it would not listed there if it was thought to be a decorative item.

Have you checked the "bullet" with a magnet?

Brian

One piece brass. non magnetic. Even tried to unscrew it at what appears to be joints. Solid.
