Well we don't have a good photo or x-ray of it for the class so I managed to convince them to save it and send it to me so we could document it. The item is in remarkable shape.

Eodtek, why is this one so special (I know nothing about grenades but am curious)?

It appears to be a never loaded WWI Phosphorous Hand Grenade, MK II. It's the first one I've seen in a good 15 yrs.
