A spot of "show 'n' tell"... well show anyway!

I've had this for a while now was given it and I haven't managed to figure out what it is, at first i thought some sort of pom pom shell but I guess WW1 by the date but German? French? It's 37mm. done a spot of googling (which is how i wound up here!). Any suggestions?

37mm

French for the M85 37mm gun, made in January 1918. Unfortunately I cannot make out the manufacturing location beyond "Parc de...?".

Hi ,try looking at my post in 'members collections',under latest addition.looks to be the same french round .nicely described by our canadian friend!

This will explain the 37x95 casing markings

Description sent to me on the manufacturer, prior to WW1 there were several others.
