AAI Corporation Sales / Training Kit circa 1970s, showing Inert Examples of their Multi-Purpose-Grenade "MPG" Tear Gas Grenades. Also a shotgun cup launching attachment, 12 Gauge Launching Blank Cartridges and examples of Ferret CN & CS 12 Gauge Tear Gas Projectile Round Cartridges.

I just got around to dusting this off and taking some pics today.

Stay Safe,

Frank

Awesome set. I was given a sectioned sample a few years back and always wondered what its "story" was. Thanks for downloading the brochure.

Very nice. I really like the AAI stuff, they were so deeply involved in so much of the really cool experimental pieces. Anything else?

Hello Jeff,

I also have a similar AAI Kit showing Inert & Cutaway Examples of the 12 Gauge, 37MM & 40MM "Ferret" Tear Gas Projectile Line. When I can locate it I will take / post some pics.

Thanks and Stay safe,

Frank

Frank, Jeff, or anyone for that matter, Does anyone have a spare spoon for one of the practice grenades? I have three of the practice grenades, and one each of the 12ga adapter/launcher and 37mm adapter/launcher. I'd also like to know what the powder load is in both the 12ga and 37mm launching carts. Hey, if ya got em, ya might as well use em, eh? Cheers, Bruce.

Hello Bruce,

Must be your lucky day, I have been holding on to a spare spoon for 20+ years for just such an occasion. PM me your address and it is yours.

Also I do not have any powder load data for the C-200 12 gauge Blank. Actually the 37MM Launching Blank was just a C-200 12 Gauge Blank, pressed into a 37MM Diameter Nylon Sleeve / Casing for use in gas guns.

Stay safe,

Frank
