Found during excavations on a fghting area between german and canadian troops.
Markings: G.C. FIELD 1941 WTF&Son Ltd.
Some remains of black paint.

Do you know what it may come ?

Could it stand for Gun Cotton Field ?

I found the answer. GC= nitrocellulose.
