Another lucky find

This was the second lucky find of the day, not that I usually collect Trench Art, but I couldn't resist this pair. I am pretty sure it's 37 x 250R Russian AA shell cases, but I am no specialist in reading Russian head markings and cannot fathom what these means. Could someone help?
Also, has anyone already come accross such dedign? It looks like it's from Bali or India but how to be sure?

I can't help with any identification. But, these are 2 nice pieces of hindoo art work. It would interest me to find out when and where these were handcrafted. I have never seen anything like this.
