Thanks Hazord...yes true it is German.

It has 43 on it but this is the date of manufacture or not?
It does not look like a wartime headstamp... but more modern ....
Who made it?

Having technical issues today

The case is modern and from the Bundeswehr.
It was produced before 1989 by Diehl Wehrtechnik GmbH u. Co.
The DM5 case was equipped with the following bullets:
HEI-T
AP-T
TP-T
Break Up
