In a reply to a coment on the 'tip offs@ section I am posting a picture of my Armstrong shell of approx. 3in calibre. I think its been seen before but please dont complain if it has. It is definitely inert as the plug unscrews (left hand thread)

I agree with Dave that is a great looking piece, never seen a better one. I have a slightly bigger one in unfired condition but not as tidy as that, thank you very much for showing it.
