Artillery Rounds Carrier

Hi to all

Does anyone recognize this carrier as been for artillery rounds and if so for what type and what country? Its measures 9 cm by 27 cm by 41cm, all 9 holes have a 81mm diameter. I presume it is for artillery cases as I can see the primer outline in the protective felt (see photo). Thanking you all in advance and hoping to hear from some of you very soon.
