Hello everyone, I present in this opportunity, the Austrian projectile of the ww1 of 37x57 R, used in the cannon INFANTERIEGESCHÜTZ M.15.

Very nice example. The 37x57 M15 round is an unusually interesting one. There are over 10 varies of projectiles for this gun. The gun itself is a small interesting item, but it was not liked be the troops as it power was not adequate for the job intended. Among the projectiles used were bouncing shells. On impact. a charge in the nose blew the major part of the shell into the air where the main charge exploded. The "priest mortar",had a similar design. WW1 has so many interesting answers to the problems encountered.

Still they were used after the war, I have a case dated 1926.

From what I know Czech and Jugo for sure used after ww1.
