Austrian zeitzunder grenade

Hi Guys.
Ive had this old grenade lying about for ages and thought its time i had a go at cleaning it up. It seemed to be caked in a combination of rust and rock hard mud. Once i started chipping at it with a small screwdriver it started t flake off quite easily revealing a very well preserved body with virtually no pitting. Interesting that the inside is fragmented as well as the outside.
cheers, Paul.:tinysmile_grin_t:

Looks great Paul, seems to have survived very well. I wish all grens would come up so well. Wonder if it was made of good quality metal? Must have been to look so good now.
Nice addition to the collection.
Andy
