bad feedback trading 35mm shell

ammogun

Well-Known Member
hello
i have a big problem with a trading for a 35x228 shell (my unique 35mm in the past)
i don't remember the name of this member
but i send the the shell ,he receive it but i never receive the traded shell
and actually he not responde at my emails ,so i considere that my shell is stolen
but recently a real friend offer for me two 35x228 to remplace my stolen shell

i have few buying international and never got problems

There is a member that others have had trouble with who was interested in 35mm Shells. I was warned to watch out for him.

I won't mention any names here.

Isn't the idea of this section to name bad feedback as well as good feedback?....seems a bit pointless to just name good feedback only, wouldn't it stop other members falling into the clutches of the few 'bad' members on here?

Tony

Good explanations are indeed in order for repeat problem members. If not then I believe we should no longer consider them members. Awfully rude to try and gain trust of good members who like to share there interests and knowledge and then try to take the joy out of it by not being fair and/or stealing. Hope things get worked out .:stupid:

I am sorry if I have 'opened a can of worms' here but there are many members on who have worked hard to to gain trust, to trust and become firm friends with other members with their sales, purchases and swaps....this mutual trust and friendship goes a long way to make BOCN almost like a familiy to be a member of.
So when you get a 'bad un' on the loose in 'our bocn familiy' and members who have trusted me in my buys, sales and swaps in the past get ripped off but because of the decent person they are do not name and shame the offender really gets to me....that person gets away with it to do it again and again, the start of this thread is a perfect example,if we had jumped on this before ammogun would still have his 35mm.
I also have been on the 'recieving end' of the member in the link but not on BOCN,so couldn't really put anything here.....but would we not give bad feedback on places like e-bay or Specialist Auctions?

Tony

People who can't be trusted lose out in the end, especially in the world of collectors, word gets around....

Dave.

I didn't mention names as I have never personally had any problem with the particular member. I was simply warned about them.

Following several private message where others had the same problems both on and off BOCN with the account holder , BOCN Admin (Me) has decided the account be suspended indefinately,
A bad deal with one person once or twice can be put down to bad luck ,but over this alarm bells start to ring.
In future if i hear of anyone else behaving like this their accounts will also be suspended ,
BOCN as many have said has got like a big family and the majority are more than happy to help each other,
But this what i can best describe as theft gives the members and the site a bad name.
look after each other and most of all look out for each other.

Allan

hello
thank for your messages
it's sad that one "bad" member can affect the forum
it's the first time that i had problems with one guy in my collection
i hope that i can post pictures of my collection (when i had new camera)
