Barometric fuze ?

Hi all,

here again with an identification problem. We found this fuze back somewhere in a basement.
I think it's a tentative of making a cut-away of some barometric fuze (No 860 fuze). But I can't determine the model.
What are you thinking about it ? Length is 18 cm and diameter is 6,5 cm. No markings.

Looks like something possibly off of a hot water or a steam heating system/valve/pipe. :tinysmile_hmm_t2:

Hi Yoda,I am thinking along the same lines as Brian,to me it does not "look"military,it looks to have a push rod (bent) at one end,I would think this is to operate some sort of flap/control,just a guess on my part,
Regards,
Don,
