Hi, could this case be a 47mm Tir Rapide blank case rather than a cut down one turned into a flower vase? It's exactly 320mm long. Does someone have the significance of the symbols at 9:00 and 2:00? Reloading marks?

Unfortunately most likely a cut down 47x376DR64 navy case for the Hotchkiss

I have several blank 47 mm cases - they range from 320,5 mm until 324,2 mm. So yours could well be a blank too. In my cases remains of glued in cardboard covers are still visible. Some of my cases have the same markings like yours and all are full of different ?reloading? marks.
