Hello

I'm looking for information about BLU-29/B.
The BLU-29/B was a 73 kg (160 lb) anti-personnel/anti-material incendiary bomb, which used a flame agent canister
I know only that and i would like more information about this.
I will wish to technical information and drawings or images.

Thank you all in advance.

001.jpg002.jpg I also have a document on this bomblet, but can;t seem to get it to load to this posting

There has always been some confusion over the designations and components of this piece, with no clear designations or really good documentation. There is the carrier, the submunition (shown) and the igniter, which is a flat pack that attaches to one end of the submunition. I've seen all three called the BLU-29, but I'm pretty sure that only the submunition carries the designation. Mike, you took this picture from the old McClellen book for the chem section, correct?

not sure where the pic by itself came from, but the other came from a doc Optimized BLU 29/B Fire Bomb
