Body marks found on VB grenede

Hello,
I've been stripping off many layers of paint from this VB grenade and could see faint traces of these two initials. In the past I've used the 'sellotape' method of making faint marks more visible without scratching or scraping the surface. Simply cover the area with sellotape and press it well in where the imprint is using a piece of blunt pointed thin dowel, a matchstick will do, when removed the results can be very impressive. In this case I found a nice clear LJ. I guess this is a manufacturers mark, can anyone tell me who they were?
Cheers,
navyman.
