Does anyone have some pictures of the projectile and fuze used on the M1927 Bofors AA gun?
I have one that has been messed with and would like to know what they look like in the original finish/colours etc.

Thanks,
Derek

Here is one of several alternatives. Color stripes from top:
-Yellow
-Black
-Plain metal
-Yellow
-Black

And Fuze. Color on nose cap or ring is blue.

Thanks Tmine35,

Interesting information but I am still confused.

Here are a couple of pictures showing the projectile and fuze, the driving bands measure; 15mm upper, 9mm lower. The length from the lower band to the top is 201mm whilst the fuze measures 90mm (total 116mm). I cannot remove the projectile as it is crimped into the case.

Is this the correct projectile for a 1941 dated case?

Finnish WW2 ammo manual shows about 6 different shells used with our Bofors guns but they all have 2 similar 10mm broad driving bands and nothing like yours. Sorry, but I can't help you more.
