Hi all,
I hope someone can help me.
I was recently sent the attached photos and was asked to help ID this bomb by someone, whose grandfather had owned it since the Second World War. However, it has left me a little bit stumped!
The bomb is made of ceramic, and appears to have a 1917 date in the middle oval lozenge. It has an oval loop it the 'tail' end, and is roughly 16 inches long in overall length once complete.
Can someone help ID it and put to rest a long time family mystery?
Many thanks,
Simon
