good morning, I wonder if anyone has any links to waffenampt codes for bomb manufacturers. A small piece of shrapnel that a friend has shows a waffen stamp Wa679. It is amazing that this particular piece was found, presumably by a school boy, and he would be interested to know who the manufacturer was.
In the same vein, many years ago another friend (I have more than one!) had details of the inspectors stamps on German bomb fuzes, who they were, where they worked and in some instances their fate.
I can't find anything on the net but that might be because I 'm not looking in the right places.
any thoughts?
