Hello I found this mills bomb base plug cleaned it up and it's brass. It's a mk1 dated 43 with the marks AF. Dave has one on his mills grenade site but it just has a question mark next to it. I wondered if anyone knows anything about brass ww2 mills plugs cheers rob

I though that was the case. have you ever come across any other ww2 brass bases ? I have a few manufactures of bases for 36 mk1 m bases that don't appear on your website or variations of ones you have if you would like me to email pics of them ? Cheers rob

Thanks Rob, i get about 3 emails a month form collectors with different base plugs from WW2, there are so many, i have stacks of pictures but i just cannot find the time to add them, i manly concentrate on WW1 base plugs as that's the ones i really like, one day i will get round to the ww2 bases, Mills boxes, mills gas checks, mills levers, mills filler screws, mills center tubes ,,,,,, Dave

Hi Rob. I collect Mills makers names. Either a list or photos would be appreciated if possible. Cheers - John
