Bren drum mag

Now I am working on my new item, bren drum mag.

It isnt in bad shape, but is little bit rusty. I would like make it in desplay shape.
I am looking for the adapter on the bren and the wider. Can somebody help me?

Radek, I am not too great at restoration business but it is plain to see you have a nice piece to start with and there are many guys in here to steer you i the right direction. You may not want to restore it at all. C'mon guys help this man out...Dano

:tinysmile_classes_t Very nice,that will respond well to a bit of sympathetic restoration...the bracket wont be to hard to make if you can find someone with a sample to provide measurements and that drum is very very nice....let me know if you have any spares.

I'm afraid your 'Bren' drum mag is for the Vickers K /GO gun,the feed mouth is to short for a Bren.

Do you have a couple to compare them Kevin? I would be very interested to see the difference,I thought they were the same for the Vickers K or BREN.

Follower

You will also need a steel follower. It looks very similar to the one in this picture, which is a Mark II for the 100 round Bren magazine. The Vickers "K" follower does not have the flexible link at the neck though.

I am looking for a Vickers "K" follower myself, both Mark I and II and also a Mark I and I* for the Bren.

If anybody has any for trade please PM me.

I don't have a K/GO drum mag so have had to use your pic.

Externaly the easiest way to identify the differences is that the Bren feed mouth is longer and the feed mouth is in line with the centre hole.
