British 4 inch Star Shell Restoration.

Hello All,
Here's a few piccies of a British 4 inch star shell that I've spent some time tidying up a bit.
I got a few years ago as what I guess was a 'sea-recovery' job & it was quite rusty & encrusted. After a good wire wheeling, brushing, scraping and picking & polishing of the fuze & driving band, it was time for the paint, as per a colour plate found on the site here.
The red band was masked off for hand painting & I used a spare 30mm Aden casemouth to mark out the white circle which again, was hand painted but the star took the most time....and patience. The white 'N' was formed by using matchsticks, cut to size, then with paint applied, gently pressed against the shell to give the 'stencil' look.
All finished off with placing in an appropriately 'sea-recovered' 102 x 370R case for '4 IN MKS. XVI & XVI* GUNS'. Not a perfect round but I'm well pleased with it & it looks quite good with my other 'heavies'!
Regards,
