To fix or not to fix, that is the question. Pictures of the separate and fixed ammunition cases for the British 4in Mk5 naval guns. The fixed case is marked for the Mk5, Mk15 and Mk17, there are also a couple of variants of the Mk5. The Mk17 is scored out deliberately. The case is 730mm long with a rim diameter of 141mm.
