British Ammunition Boxes

I'm looking for information on British WWII ammunition boxes. I'm a re-enactor and want to make a display of ammunition stacks. The modern metal boxes that I've seen look identical to period pictures that I've looked at. Has the design not changed? If so I intend to buy some modern boxes and mark them up as WWII equivalents, obtain some inert rounds etc and put on an RAOC display. The following is a list of some modern box sizes, can anyone tell me if these are equivalent to anything used during the war.

26x14x63 cm 105mm
40x25x48 cm 120mm tk
24x24x66 cm no markings
