Hi can anyone identify this? Found in a large crater,Has standard threads which shows i believe it to be from a bomb or rocket and not a rotated shell and from the back end as its not shaped to be aerodynamic, Reminds me of the base plate from a British air dropped bomb, Using the circumference as a guide i would say it was originally about 4.5" inches wide. It could also be from a 5" Landmattress rocket. Cheers Tig.
