Also picked up at Newark ,this tin measures L350mm ,W170mm ,H235mm typical British tear off lid ,stamped MB with a symbol underneath I can't make out .Any ideas please
Nice find Dave. It looks like a tin liner for an H1 or H13.(Dimensions are about right) Probably ww2. The outer boxes turn up quite often but rarely do they have their tin liners.
