Does anyone here have British Lemon type handgrenades in collection? They were used by Finnish Army and i try to gather all the types to my collection.I only have the black/white reference picture in army manual and would like to see real examples.

They are the No15 & No16 grenades . There are examples of both on Specialist Auctions at this time . Hope this helps you .

Hi Jiipee, What you are showing is the British #16 "oval pattern" grenade, and i believe the lemons are #'s 6 and 7. I thought the same thing when I got my first #16. With that said the #16 oval pattern is a great grenade and a desireable piece. It has parallel history alongside the #15 cricketball model...Dano

I found a lovely example of a No16 in Estonia many years ago but there are still a few coming out of your area, ,,,, Dave

Definitely one of my favourite types. Cheers
