British No 2 Grenade

Hi All. Here's my latest acquisition. Its the No2 that was recently on ebay for a huge sum but after some haggling i got it for a more realistic price.
It has turned out to be a bit better than i first thought. the wood handle looked like a short repro but has turned out to be the original cane handle cut down. maybe it was a mk1 that had been modified to make it a mk2? also the det housing still contains the original empty copper detonator and a felt wad and wood plug. all in all a very nice complete grenade.
