yeap!! along with the 37mm... that i found a few days later as they where at the bottom of the pile...

unfortunatelly all had surface rust and the colour hasnt been preserved...
i got a couple but the rest followed the destiny of the rest of the pile...

scrap for metal.....

Nope... there wherent any more of those... unfortunatelly...
I have my eyes open though cause i am sure more will come my way... :)

I got one of the 6Pr APDS projectiles from Rafail last week. It is in very nice condition. The stamped markings are:

AP DS 6PR
7CWT 1 B T
JMB 2 / 4 5

Does anyone know who the manufacturer "JMB" is?

The ink stampings are: (T) KBY4/45 (398) 19753. What do these mean?

Thanks for any info.

JMB - John Mackie & Sons, Belfast
T with the semi circle above denotes fitted tracer
KBY - Kirby
4/45 - date of filling
I think 398 is the Lot number
19753 - I don't know, but should

Cheers Tim, that was quick.

I recognised the tracer marking. I have a 20x139 APCT round made in South Africa in 1979 which has this symbol and near identical colour codes.
